Pyramid Sculpture Park

As a photographer, many times we search for new and exciting places to photograph. And as such we tend to look outside of our environment, again searching for that new experience. Have you ever ever gone through this and realized that the new experience is in your own backyard? Well, I have to say that I have recently had this experience at the Pyramid Sculpture Park in Hamilton Ohio. Now I must admit that this was not my first trip to the sculpture park, but since my last trip many things have changed for the betterment of all. During my first trip, while enjoyable, I found that many of the sculptures were extremely weathered, and were sparse considering the overwhelming size of the park. I'm happy to say that this is no longer the case. There's a lot to see, and the park is a favorite spot for weddings and other outside events. I would suggest that you stop by the museum office, where you will find a plethora of information on the park, the sculptures and the artists who created them. Getting back to my subject, I want to invite you to search your local parks and recreation services' website for new places to photograph. If you are like me, you will go for one thing and discover another. In my instance, I went to photograph a few of the sculptures. I soon realized that there are numerous places for portraiture. I would, however, check with the park's administration before taking portraits with the sculptures; you may have to get permission to do so. The following are a few of my photos. Enjoy!
